Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced BIM Engineer with a strong background in architectural theming projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on complex, highly detailed theming projects and be capable of translating design concepts into accurate and coordinated BIM models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for themed architectural and entertainment projects.
- Translate design concepts and themed elements into accurate, constructible BIM models.
- Model complex architectural elements, themed façades, interiors, structures, decorative elements and other project-specific components.
- Coordinate BIM models with architecture, structure, MEP, façade and other disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks/Revit.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, documentation and model outputs required for construction/fabrication.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, consultants, fabricators and project teams.
- Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness and design intent.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain updated models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in BIM coordination and technical meetings.
- Support project teams in resolving complex modelling and coordination challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years of BIM experience, preferably in Architecture / Theming.
- Strong hands-on experience with Revit and BIM modelling.
- Experience working on complex, detailed, large-scale theming projects is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of architectural details, construction methods, materials, and fabrication requirements.
- Experience with Navisworks and clash detection.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of BIM coordination and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex geometries and design elements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international project teams.
- GCC project experience is highly preferred.
Note: Candidates should have demonstrable experience in theming projects. General BIM experience without relevant theming/project experience may not be suitable for this position.
